10 % Tuesday discount

I was very disappointed with the staff at the Cross Trainer in Bt Ngebs mall Mthatha EC. My wife and I were about to pay for sneaker for my son when my wife saw a sign saying 10% discount on Tuesday for students. When she enquired about the discount they said if you present a student card and Id you do qualify. Since my wife is not a south African but is a student and has a valid passport they refused to give us the discount.

This was disappointing to me as the sign clearly said students qualify for a 10% discount. This really made me wonder wether is it truly as they said or the staff displayed xenophobic tendencies.
