Useless security

This has happened on more than a few occassion where the parking ticket gives a card read error. When this happens in the evening you are basically stranded if not near the ticket office. The security staff refers you to speak via the intercom system at the ticket machine or at the boom, but the speakers are faulty. Why do the security staff have walkie-talkies?! If you ask them for help, why can they not assist? I was also previously referred to the ticket office which is quite a ways away from the the downstairs movies parking late one evening.
