Cresta parking fees are a ripoff on Saturdays

I went to Cresta shopping centre this afternoon to quickly buy a pair of jeans. I parked in the open parking bay area and am aware that the 1st hour is free. I was at the centre for 48 minutes and when I wanted to get my parking ticket validated, I found out to my horror that Cresta charges a flat fee after 30 minutes on Saturdays. During the week the 1st hour is free and no where on the parking fee boards when you enter, can you see that there is a flat fee on the weekend - R8.00 at that, which I find an absolute ripoff. At Randridge Mall the first 90minutes are completely free and at Clearwater Mall the same fees apply, whether week days or weekend, namely the 1st hour is free.

Cresta will definitely not see me anymore. There are many other shopping centres available - I am just sorry that I was given a gift card from Cresta.
