COVID spreading and lack of security

I’ve been a very loyal supporter of Cresta Shopping Centre in Randburg for the past 15 years.

I was utterly disappointed when visiting the mall on Monday, 21/12/2020. Over half of the shoppers wore masks on their chins, or covering the mouth only (which is as effective as cutting a hole in a ****** before use). Even STAFF of shops wore masks like this!

Many shops did not have sanitizer, or left patrons who said “no thank you” to sanitizer at the door. Shops also do not ask patrons to wear masks properly - apparently, as long as you have a “mask”, even if it hangs around the neck or the earlobe, it is sufficient.

To make matters worse, a man tried to pickpocket me by roughly bumping in to me. He was not wearing a mask and he then turn around to swear at me, spot spraying all over me. There was NO SECURITY in sight. I’ve spent 30 minutes to locate a mall security, (by which time the perpetrator was long gone), but did not feel comfortable talking to him as he too was wearing a mask over his mouth only, whilst doing absolutely nothing about the people not wearing masks.

Any person from a health organization who wishes to make a fortune in fines, visit Cresta Mall. They are spreading COVID for Christmas. No one in the mall is enforcing any protocols.
