Against the Consumer protection Act!

In the last year Cresta Shopping centre has put in a new parking system wherein all customers must go through a boom, receive a ticket and proceed to park. The deal is, 0-1 hr is free during the week in Open parking. Covered parking you pay for the same time frame. On a few occasions now, I have gone to the roof parking (near Checkers) which is completely open, been in the building for much less than 1 hour and when i put my ticket in, I'm told to pay R6. I press the buzzer to speak to whomever, and on two occasions, they have apologized and when I've gone through the boom, they have let me out. Today, however, 2 ladies were on (at 12noon). When I contacted them I was told, \sorry, but that's the policy. Because I drove THROUGH covered parking, I must pay\". This is ENTIRELY not acceptable, nor legal as it defies the printed information prior to entering the parking at Cresta, and on the machine where you pay. Moreover, Cresta USED to have a machine past the first boom that went up to the roof, where the customer needed to insert their ticket a second time which then confirmed that they were entering the roof parking. This machine is now gone. I have also approached the CPA!"
