26 Jun 2015, 11:21Hello deon@talent,
Dr Deon van Wyk made contact with Credo Books as a result of previous business dealings which stretched over more than 10 years. Credo Books believes very strongly in its principles of honesty, fairness and manages its business with the utmost integrity. Credo Books was asked for a favour by Dr van Wyk to publish his book in electronic and hard copy format. Based on the discussion with the owner of the business, he was presented with contracts that outlined the verbal agreement that took place. After several attempts at getting the contract to conclusion, Dr van Wyk was given the opportunity to make the necessary changes he felt comfortable with, for Credo Books to then review. It was discovered, that Dr van Wyk altered the agreed payment arrangements in his favour, the opposite of what was discussed. Dr van der Merwe assumed that the contracts would simply be signed without consideration to the changes that he had made. When the CEO failed to accommodate a meeting Dr van Wyk within the hour, he chose to post this response in retaliation.
