PRESCRIBED DEBT

I received a sms from you guys today, and you know it's ******* to collect on debt that is older than 3 years. This debt must be almost 9 years old.May I remind you what the conditions are for prescribed debt:<br> <br> If, in the past three years, you have not: made any payment towards settling a debt, acknowledged owing the money in any way or agreed to pay it, or been summonsed in respect of it, it has prescribed, and you can raise this as a defence when asked to pay such a debt.<br> <br> I have never paid or acknowledge the debt, and no judgement has been taken. This is a feeble, but insidious attempt to entrap unsuspected consumers who are not aware of their rights.<br> <br> This sms is a deliberate, and I will report you to the relevant bodies for your transgression.
