APPALLING SERVICE - CREDIT WORX ~ ADT SECURITY SERVICES || ALTECH NETSTAR

My mother has received multiple SMS for an account apparently handed over to Credit Worx for collection.

It transpires that the accounts are old accounts I had many years ago and which I closed more than three years ago with the original provider.

I do not understand why:

1. I cannot access the alleged statements from the link they provided. It links to a 404 not found page; 2. Why they only have a phone number which leads to a call centre which can in now way assist you, other than to say pay or make an arrangements. Why do they not have email addresses for correspondence? 3. How they managed to get my mothers contact details and why they assume that an SMS is considered to be any form of communication.

Why their clients after more than three (3) years are now claiming an inordinate and disproportionate amount of money after not having received any services from them I just don't know.

As I am unable to email credit worx and request the documentation I require, I will be contacting the service providers directly.

Be very cautious when entering into arrangements with service providers who do not respond to correspondence or seemingly ignore cancellation requests.

One thing is for sure I will never ever use ADT Security Services OR Altech Netstar ever again.

If this is how they treat customers by never corresponding with them when it is believed all is in order post cancellation, then they do not deserve to be in business.
