Credit bureaus bad services

Can anyone maybe help how and why can the credit bureaus just not even reply or respond to any queries at all after its there work. Don't they know that the bureaus have such a big impact on our lives but yet they don't the one thing they are suppose to and its to do there work. Is there not a government institution that can help us in order to help our self's.
