Credit Matters to remove my name under debt clause that they have enlisted.
I was invited by one of their consultant in 2017 explaining their services. I was going through rough time. During the end of 2018 I realised my accounts were far behind and called them on several occasions and they would not respond. I did all a client can do until I left them. I paid my account and settled most of my creditors. Of concern is that I informed them of my decision and ask them since 2019 to lift my name. I plead for removal of debt clause. So that I can continue normally. I am in jail because of Credit Matters even when I have long left them. The punishment is punitive and not constructive in assisting clients. Even the bank where my bond is cannot assist me because of the clause next to my name. They are no longer assisting me in the past 3 years. When you call the land line no one respond. They act in a mischievous manner. Can I please be assisted the punishment has been served to the best of my ignorance about the debt reviewers. I do not have money to pay lawyers to instruct them to remove my name. I am a pensioner and under extreme psychosomatic illnesses.
Thank you for reaching out to our offices. We have checked all records and it appears quite the opposite. In 2019 you indicated to 1 of the Credit Providers that you want to cancel your debt review plan. As your debt counselor, we had to verify this with you directly and have been struggling since 2019 to get hold of you and despite several SMS and calls coupled with emails, you were not contactable or responsive. On 2 occasions you disconnected our call. Due to the lack of feedback on your end, your debt review matter was withdrawn at Court as well as from the process. According to our records, you have not settled any of your accounts and therefore are in no position to be issued a Clearance Certificate. If you are indeed in possession of paid-up letters subsequently obtained for settled accounts, please make contact with our offices and we will certainly assist with the Clearance Process. A Clearance Certificate is issued only when all Credit Obligations(excluding a home loan) are settled in full.
Hope the above provides clarity.
