Cancellation Clause issues
All this after being told by the owner that NONE of the reviews here are actual customers of Credit Consult SA
Credit Consult Sa contacted me wanting to cancel my Debt Review and process mediation on my name. Initially I had agreed to their services, after doing some research and well as contacting my Debt Review service provider and my Bank I found out the process they are offering is NOT a legal process and the company itself has received many complaints from consumers as they are ******** people into falling for their lies.
They have a cancellation clause - Even if you cancel within the terms of the clause they still demand you pay 70% of the amount you were initially going to pay. The problem is that you can only cancel via Whatsapp - when you send a cancellation request no-one replies and then when they eventually do they say that it is now past the clause period of 5 days and you are now liable to pay the money.
I have also found out that it is ******* for a company to offer to cancel your Debt Review process as Debt Review is a court ordered process/application whereby only the court has the right to cancel. The lady that I spoke to had promised me that Credit Consult SA is a valid company and they are helping so many South Africans get out of Debt Review. They do not have a landline number that gets answered, they do not have a website, all correspondence is done via whatsapp to which no-one answers when you send in a query.
It is now concerning that I am being harassed for payment that I should not be liable to pay. After reading up on Hello Peter I am concerned about garnish orders and legal proceedings.
