Dud Kettle
So when I did my research and thought that I'd found a decent kettle, I didn't imagine it would be such a dud. Within the first few months my kettle stopped working and then one day it seemed to "fix itself" and continue for another year. Quite a temperamental thing, because now that the guarantee has expired, it's given up the ghost - good and proper.
You can imagine that I wasn't impressed when I was invited to drop the kettle off for repairs in an industrial area far from my house and that there would then be a cost for me to cover said repairs...why would I bother spending more money on this faulty product?!
I would've thought - reading the emails in the previous thread of communication between the company and me about the faulty appliance - that there would be another kind of solution to assist me.
Suffice it to say that my experience of Mellerware was from satisfactory and I won't be wasting my money on any other products with that brand name.
