<p>Hendrik de Bruyn used to trade as 'Creative Gates'. He alleges that he has gone out of business as ‘Creative Gates’, however, Hendrik still trades in the southern peninsula. Do not use this man. He is dishonest, and appears to relish the game of stringing the client along. He is also in a phase of taking money without delivering the service or work, and will become threatening and abusive when challenged.</p> <p> </p> <p>My experience is much like that of others who have posted their experiences with ‘Creative Gates’. I made a 50% payment to Hendrik for the installation and motorisation of two vehicle gates. After some delays and excuses a team of two arrived and fitted track, but having had no brief or supervision and despite detailed discussion with me, they fitted the track at the incorrect height. Further chasing up over some weeks, eventually resulted in the frame of one gate being delivered. Fast forward eight months and it has been absolutely impossible to get any further service, delivery or fitment of motors from Hendrik. I have lost count of the number of times in each month I have called him. I sometimes have to call from other's cellphones in order to get him to take the call. He appears to quite enjoy keeping a string of lies going. His response invariably is that he arranges to come on a certain day. He will often keep in touch with various excuses throughout the day, but will not arrive, thus wasting my precious work days. After a number of experiences like this I tracked down his work address in Fish Eagle Park, but found that he has moved out of there, reportedly leaving staff and debts unpaid.</p> <p> </p>
