Crazykidz Farmyard - fabulous venue, not checking for COVID19 compliance, no parking security (gate open) and access (door open) to a large pool without a net or fencing around it

I would like to start this notice off by stating this venue is beautiful - a superb day out - excellent for a children's party and day out/ Exceptionally well maintained.

The reason I have to give this a 1 star unfortunately is that having visited this venue and having spent a few hours there - there is absolutely nothing safe in terms of COVID-19, social distancing, much less securing the venue to ensure people are not ****** or heaven forbid kids taken! (the site says no mask no entry and does imply it will check temperatures, though no monitoring took place at all on entry)

When I was there, there was an event or two on the go and anyone could pop in as a day visitor, so a number of people, not considered in close proximity and no logging, so now then cannot be tracing. On the site, security seems stringent enough as they stipulae no mask, no entry, and do imply that they take readings. Neither is the case and given that we are back up to over 6000 cases as of this morning - the checking is critical and the business, as well as the patrons, need to take care. Another point of concern for me in particular, it that I noticed an open door (held open by stones) and in the area, there is a lovely large pool with no fencing, pool net and there are dogs (luckily not dangerous dogs)- so nothing stops children from wondering in as it is open and no one would hear with all the fun going on that a child has fallen into the pool. Here I did ask one of the men with me to please secure the area by closing the door (metal) There is no security at the entrance. I was really concerned as a guest at the event that there were two young men (neatly dressed) over the roan in clear view hanging around outside for an extended period for no reason directly looking into the venue. In the very likely event that anyone that has been at this venue of late has contracted covid, this business will not be able to inform all visitors (day or party events) is able to contact to notify that the need to observe and act accordingly. As lovely as this venue is, not safe from a COVID nor a security perspective. I hope this changes as a result of this open communication.

As a company specializing in children's events and party planning, again as lovely a place and wonderful for kids, please be aware and ensure that you keep your family and friends safe.

I noticed that the tortoises move all the way to the car park - kids follow them and this is where I see the risk, I personally saw just how fast this happens and was concerned that the kids would follow outside in or past the carpark.

So to all reading this, the venue has an obligatory and legal duty to comply with the laws which most certainly is in question.

Patrons (party and day visitors), be vigilant and comply with lockdown rules - please do let the owner know, I wish I did on the day.
