Pathetic service from manager

What a joke... <br> <br> Went to Crazy Plastics in Witbank (Del Judor) to buy 3 compact cooler boxes. They had pink and green in one brand, and then a Coca Cola cooler box. The barcodes below all showed the same price - R129,99. However, when I got to the till, the Coca Cola one scanned for R149,99. I said to the cashier that it showed R129,99 on the shelf. They called the manager, Roy, who went with the packer to the shelf. There he had a talk to the packer as the barcode was clearly showing R129,99. He took the barcode to the till while I followed him, and there he showed the cashier as well that the price on the barcode was wrong. He continued to peel away a sticker on the barcode, which revealed a price of R149,99 underneath, and then said to me that the R149,99 is indeed the correct price. <br> <br> Surely it is not MY responsibility as customer to check their barcodes, let alone peel away the sticker on the barcode to check whether the price is correct!!!<br> <br> Pathetic service from a manager, Roy - even your cashier and packer stared at you in unbelief at the way you treat customers. Be assured I'll travel the extra kilometers to shop elsewhere.
