Appalling Service at Crazy Plastics Ferndale-on-Republic – Unacceptable Treatment by Sales Manager

I am extremely disappointed and disturbed by the shocking experience I had at Crazy Plastics Ferndale-on-Republic. Over the past few weeks, I have been purchasing wrapping paper from this store with the understanding — based on their own policy — that staff would wrap my gifts as part of the service. This has been done without issue on multiple occasions.

However, on my most recent visit, I was subjected to unprofessional, aggressive, and outright discriminatory behavior from one of the sales managers, Bearton. He flat-out refused to wrap my gifts, in direct contradiction to the store’s usual practice. When I calmly questioned this sudden change, Bearton’s response escalated into shouting and yelling at me in front of other customers. His tone, demeanor, and words were not only unprofessional but also racially charged — a deeply offensive and unacceptable experience for any customer.

I felt compelled to start recording the interaction, and it was only then that his behavior shifted. The moment other customers began noticing and his actions were being documented, he suddenly changed his tone and became more polite. This change in behavior was clearly performative, as he still ultimately refused to honor the store’s policy of wrapping the gifts I had purchased wrapping paper for.

This experience was humiliating, degrading, and completely avoidable had Bearton treated me with the basic respect every customer deserves. No one should have to endure such hostility or **************, especially in a place of business that claims to serve the public.

I am calling on Crazy Plastics management to urgently review their store’s customer service standards and hold Bearton accountable for his behavior. This level of misconduct cannot be swept under the rug. I will also be escalating this matter further if no action is taken.

Customers deserve to feel safe, respected, and valued. Crazy Plastics Ferndale-on-Republic fell short on every front, and I strongly advise management to take immediate corrective action.
