Bad Bad Bad Service

<p>I have been handed over to these seemingly unprofessional Lawyers by a Dr Van Jaarsveld's financial team, who did a bad job of claiming from my medical aid. I was sent an account of R3000-00 from Dr Van Jaarsveld's people claiming that GEMS did not pay for the In-Hospital procedure. Upon enquiry, GEMS said that they would pay if the proper codes are claimed and I contacted the Dr's admin clerks to ask if they could please reclaim with the proper codes because I dont have R3000-00. The ladies at Dr Van Jaarsveld had the worst attitude and told me that they did claim with the proper codes and will not do it again. I must pay. So I contacted Gems again and they said that they will investigate and get back to me. I informed Dr Van Jaarsveld's people that they must wait with any procedures with the account as Gems in working on it. Then in June, I recieved a notification from Gems that they have paid Dr Van Jaarsveld. Not everything but R865.00. The next I get is a call from Crause Prokereurs here in Bloemfontein claiming that Van Jaarsveld has handed me over and I owe R3000-00 plus their fees...dont know how they got to their fees. I was a bit caught off guard because I was still under the impression that GEMS is still working on the matter. The fact that they have recieved more money also made me furious that Crause can still claim R3000-00 plus her costs. I refused to pay her and then paid R3000-00 in two installments to Dr Van Jaarsveld . Earlier this month, I found out that I was blacklisted by Crause Prokereurs and I contacted Retha at Van Jaarsveld and was told that they paid the money over to Crause because I was handed over by the time i paid the account. I phoned Crause to find out why, she, Nadia Crause, told me that she still have not received a cent on my account and that is why she blacklisted me. Imagine my astonishment at that response... where was my money??? where was the R3000-00 I paid and the R865-00 Gems paid,,,, and surely all that money was enough to cover my now DEBT at Crause. She said she will come back to me...she didn't.... I called her again and as per her usual rude self, she claimed that i still owe her as whopping R652.60 and she DEMANDED THAT I PAY HER ANOTHER R652-60 IMMEDIATELY... IN THE MIDDLE OF THE MONTH... FAR AWAY FROM PAYDAY.... AND NOT HAVING BUDGETTED FOR IT... I ASKED IF SHE WILL THEN PLEASE REMOVE MY NAME FROM THE BLACKLIST SHE SAID NO!!! I MUST PAY HER R2500-00 MORE TO DO SO. My question is, why are people like Nadia Crause, who are suppose to uphold the law, motivated to use the law to "*****" money from people who work hard for our money. I have paid the last of my hard earned money into her bank account, which I assume is fat and bursting at the seams and I have still not recieved any feedback. I know she will also not remove my name from the black listing and my name will have to stay there for as long as it takes because I don't have R2500-00 to just throw into the fat pockets of viciously money grabbing greedy lawyers. Dr Van Jaarsveld's offices allow someone who have no personallity to answer their phones so all she says is, "they will call you"...and it never happens. Nadia Crause is still not responding after I asked for a proof of payment and is ignoring me completely and that is why I am reverting to Hello Peter. I will probably never get any money back from her, she will have to give up her big house and big car, but I need a letter from her to say that she recieved my contribution to her fat salary and that I owe her and Dr Van Jaarsveld nothing.
