Craig View don't care

Craigview Vet Benoni. I have been a loyal client of yours for 3 years now. My family used to take their dogs and cats there but they no longer do. And neither do many of my clients and friends... I wonder why???!!!!

My Mac has been through hell the past three weeks. First I had to take him in for an ear infection. Paid upfront. Then I took him in for his blood tests and teeth anti biotics. Paid upfront.

Wednesday he went it for his full dental. I was instructed to take him in on Wednesday morning at 8am. THEY ONLY OPERATED ON HIM AT 3PM THAT DAY. I WAS ONLY ALLOWED TO FETCH HIM YESTERDAY AT 3PM.

I went to fetch him and the second I saw him (in the vets arm's) I noticed his eye from a mile away! She, at first acted dumb, like she didn't see it. I had to force her to look at his swollen eye and she said that he must of pushed his face against the cage and caused inflammation. (they did phone me beforehand to tell me about the extra cost), but I was charged an extra R700 for a mattress that Mac had chewed up.

My total was R4600.

Now, his eye is bulging out and is highly inflammed . He is in so much pain and it's getting worse by the hour. I have called them to ask the vet to contact me and I GOT NO RESPONSE.

My boyfriend had to go to the vet AGAIN today and tell them they need to fix his eye and help us. THEY CHARGED US AN EXTRA R1000!!!! FOR SOMETHING THAT HAPPENED IN THEIR CARE!!!!

This vet has ZERO customer care. I pay without any question at all and when I simply wanted them to at least take care of us as loyal customers, they failed us.

My Mac is in pain, and yes, he may have pushed his face against the cage, but why was he made to stay on his own for such long periods of time. Why couldn't I fetch him the next morning? Who is in charge of this stuff? And why don't they care about us as people and animals. Just as a wallet??

Mac has cost us R10 000. Trust me... Any future rescues will definitely be going elsewhere..
