I would strongly advise anyone considering this builder to think very carefully before hiring him. Our experience was extremely disappointing and, more than four years later, we are still dealing with problems caused by his workmanship and failure to complete the project properly. The quality of workmanship was poor. Our patio was left slanting towards the house instead of away from it, creating drainage concerns. Several aspects of the renovation had to be redone by other contractors at additional cost to us because the work was either incomplete or not up to an acceptable standard. Throughout the project, we were repeatedly asked for additional payments beyond the original quotation. Despite making payments as requested, many of the promised repairs and installations were never completed properly. Another major concern was that subcontractors approached us directly looking for payment for work they had performed, claiming they had not been paid by the builder, despite us having already paid him for those services. This placed us in an extremely uncomfortable position and caused unnecessary stress. We also experienced issues with materials and equipment being moved without our permission, including our swimming pool pump. Furthermore, documentation and certificates relating to aluminium installations were never provided despite numerous requests. Communication became increasingly difficult. Whenever we attempted to arrange for outstanding defects to be repaired, there always seemed to be excuses and delays. At one stage, we were informed that he had been involved in an accident, and later his sister contacted us requesting additional money for work that had supposedly been completed, despite all agreed payments already having been made. The end result is that we have spent years dealing with unresolved defects, water leaks, unfinished work, and the cost of bringing in other contractors to repair and complete the project. Based on our personal experience, I would not recommend this builder. The project was not completed to a satisfactory standard, communication was poor, and the ongoing issues have caused significant frustration and expense. Would not recommend!!!
