Poor delivery service

I have placed 2 orders with them. The product is great - I have no complaints. But the shipping time??? I ordered on 31 October (for Xmas gifts) - ETA was latest 5th December. Today on 11th Jan I am still waiting. The website does not communicate with you until you complain. Why do they not keep you updated with the shipping situation???
