A Boat-trip that will be remembered for a lifetime!

We lost our hearts somewhere between Bokkomlaan and the middle of the Berg River!

Cracklin' Rosie offers scenic boat trips on the Berg River from Bokkomlaan in Velddrif; we took the 2 hour fishing trip which included EVERYTHING we needed for fishing - we only brought ourselves and some snacks/drinks. Natie (which is your go-to fisherman/handy man in town), did all the prepping of the fishing rods and all we had to do was throw our lines in the water - how spoiled were we! Between the fishing, we also got to do bird watching with Nick's binoculars. Nick & Wendy really went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and kept us entertained. Afterwards we all even went to a famous Calamari spot in town! I'm still reminiscing on the taste...

Never have I experienced this tranquility, beauty and hospitality - we left Velddrif feeling like family, thank you Cracklin' Rosie "child, you got the way to make me happy".
