Denied services for few hours before 6 months anniversary

I took a funeral cover for my younger brother in July 17 after discovering that he was seek and my first installment went out on 1st of August 2023 and he past away on the 31 of January 2024 and they refuse to pay saying that we didn't complete the six months waiting period. My brother passed away just a few hours before the start of the 1st of February. I feel very aggrieved by this ensurance and will warn people to be careful of them
