Don't trust or pay for these pool covers!

We ordered a customised pool cover from Gert Smalberger in October, after many phone calls and good liaison. We provided exact measurements and a picture. Gert quoted us R1980, which was R500 more than the next quote, but because he had responded so quickly and seemed eager to do business, we decided to support his business (support the smaller guy and all that). We had to pay upfront via EFT. We waited 22 days and then, on inquiry, Gert said the cover had been sent to the wrong place. Another 23 days later, mid Dec, we received a pool cover - It was about 30cm too big on both width and length and it did not look new.<br> We contacted Gert but neither he nor his wife Angelique have bothered to respond.
