FORD POOR CUSTOMER CARE, REPAIRS, SERVICING
My ford Ecosport has been recalled 3 times to date. The engine seized while still in the warranty period barely 3 weeks after the service date.
I have had to put up quite a fight to be allowed a courtesy car. I have asked numerous times what the problem is and they have yet to give a reason.
A month later and I am still without my car. I do not have the confidence in the vehicle anymore and have asked them to do a deal on another vehicle and they have been less than forthcoming and accommodative. They are intent on letting me keep this vehicle despite my fears and non confidence in it.
Even complained to Ford USA. No response.

23 Nov 2015, 16:44Hello khalil,
Clinton is the service advisor.....
This vehicle came in with engine light on and misfire..After doing our diagnostic tests it was ascertained that compression on one of the cylinders was way below specification. We started the process to FMCSA to have the engine replaced under warranty..After submission of our quotes to FMCSA Warranty dept we were advised/instructed to have the bottom end(sub assy)replaced and have the cylinder head repaired... We removed the cylinder head to send to the engineers for repairs and we ordered the sub assy as instructed by FMCSA... We are busy assembling the engine but are unfortunately awaiting the arrival of new cylinder head bolts as we can not re-use the old cylinder head bolts. We are expecting the new head bolts to arrive tomorrow.
With regards to a courtesy vehicle at the time of Mr Sun*** presenting the vehicle to us ,we could not supply him with one due to us not having any at that moment in time..However I arranged a courtesy car from FMCSA a few days later to accommodate the client...
Kind regards - Johan Pearson - Dealer Principal
