Disgusting Customer Service

So I had no joy trying to reach out and log a complaint with County Fair chicken. To date I am still waiting for someone to contact me to have the complaint logged. On Thursday 21 March, I logged a complaint on behalf of my mom who is a pensioner and not able to do these things herself as she's well I'm her 70's and sickly. I logged the complaint on Astral foods as recommended on Google when searching their customer service contact. I added all the necessary information as it states I will be contacted. I understand it was a public holiday so the contact would take place the following day as no time around time was provided when sending off the email.

When I didn't receive any form of communication from county fair the Friday, I called in amd a lady told me I would be contacted. I am still waiting for a call back. The chicken which was a 5kg frozen wings bag, had a off smell and taste when my mom prepared it. My mom has the sample as I said this needs to be collected. Bearing in mind this 5kg bag of chicken was my mother's only source of food for the month. She is now sitting with nothing in her freezer except a smelly bag of frozen chicken. I'm having to make sure my mom has a 3 meals a day daily. As she would make food that would last her 2 to 3 days. But now we have county fair who has got the time to ignore people's complaints and now my poor sickly mother needs to wait until they decide when to call with a resolution.

Oh and you best believe I want my mother to be reimbursed accordingly, she can barely afford the bare minimum and she would sacrifice to buy this 5kg chicken to last her a month!!! What if my elderly mother had to consume the chicken and fallen ill???!!??

If this does not get resolved within the next 24 hours or I don't get a call back, not only will I take this to the media the old fashion style but I will also get my lawyers onto this, trust me, I know my rights, I come from customer service and I will take further legal steps.

This is my mother's livelyhood now and I will do whatever I can to make an example of county fair.
