County Fair chicken steaklets Black

I purchased the county fair chicken steaklets from checkers hyper at gateway. Kzn. The chicken was literally black. I cut the chicken and the edges were black as well as an odour on it. I've always purchased these steaklets and I will not do so in the future as this could definitely lead to food poisoning or worse if consumed.
