Professional service from Council of Medical Schemes

I had dispute with my Medical Aid which related to a short payment for pathological tests The Medical Aid claimed that two items were duplicated and would not pay.

I made representations to my medical aid to point out that both items were for different tests and thus not duplicates but they still refused to pay,

I lodged a complaint with Council for Medical Schemes on 5 November, 2021 and, after determining that my complaint had merit, forwarded their comments to the medical aid on 10 November, 2021 under reference CMS78433

Medical Aid investigated my complaint and the money was refunded to me on 3 December, 2021.

CMS need to be congratulated on their professional and prompt handling of my complaint whch led to expidicious settling of my claim.
