No Premium Assistance/ Reductions due to Loss of Income - COVID19

Just chatted to my medical aid (BestMed) and they have apparently been instructed by the Council for Medical Schemes to not offer any assistance with regards to reduced premiums due to loss of income. Been contributing for +/- 8 years with no claims (hospital plan). I would have appreciated a temporary premium reduction - not a complete freeze or anything of the sort.
