VERY DISAPPOINTED: Poor quality clothing
I spent R15 000.00 on winter clothing. My wife and I have 4 children and we have been Cotton On supporters for a long time now. Due to the lock down we were forced to shop online, our kids were extremely excited when our packages eventually arrived. My wife and I once again decided to buy the kids clothes form Cotton On due to the quality and fit the kids enjoy. However, this time we were really disappointed in the quality. Especially the knitted items, Hooded tops and tracksuits. Due to the lockdown restrictions I personally do all the washing. I follow the washing guidelines and we don’t own a tumble dryer. So all the garments are washed inside out, on a delicate setting, and with cold water. And still even before washing the items made bobbles under arms, between legs, telling me that the material was of sub standard. Two of the items has been miss stitched and have holes in them on the seams. Due to lock down we are at home and the clothes are quite protected as they are only worn indoors. I am really disappointed in the quality of the clothing. And I deliberately bought from Cotton On (their clothes are definitely more expensive) as I thought quality is at a premium. Sitting here R15k later I feel that I might as well spent that money somewhere else. We had these items for over a week and the kids only wore some items once and they are now too scared to wear the other items as mom and I look so disappointed in the clothes. This has really put a damper on the excitement getting new clothes. I will not buy from you again and will definitely share my disgust with family and friends. I hope someone sees this email and acts on quality control.
Worse thing is I sent this to the Cotton On customer care and all I receive was a system generated email. There is no contact number to speak to anyone.
