Utterly Disappointed - Cotton On Greenstone Mall

Good day, on the 27th of October 2021 I went to Greenstone Mall as I live in Greenstone Hill. I went to get a birthday gift for our Nanny from a different store and at 17:51 (I know this because I had my phone in my hand when I checked the time), I got to Cotton On to see what I can get for my 1yr old twins for Christmas because last year we waited until it was too late and struggled to find their size from your stores but eventually did so Christmas was "saved". Upon arriving at Cotton On Greenstone Mall at 17:51, I found 2 gentlemen already putting padlocks at the bottom of the roller doors, I asked the gentleman on my right if are they seriously closed before 18:00 as I know that Mall closes at 18:00. He proudly nodded his head, I asked again if he was serious and even turned my phone towards him so he could see that they were closing early and he again proudly said "yebo" this time. I then said I would be reporting this as I had a similar incident where Cell C staff at Greenstone Mall shut their doors in mine and my Husbands face back in 2018 at 17:48 and I reported them too. Back to Cotton On, after saying to this gentleman that I would be reporting this, he literally said to me "go ahead" and shrugged his shoulders. This was when I decided to walk off and go find my Husband who had rushed to Checkers. I then told him what had just happened and he suggested we go get his name. We went back and saw another gentleman who was opening for customers that were inside and leaving. He then called out to the guy I spoke to just 5 mins ago and I say 5 mins because all the other stores around Cotton On still had their doors wide open because it was not yet 18:00. Godfrey Maphangule is the gentleman this complaint is about as we did not appreciate his tone even while we were getting his name and telling him that we would be reporting this, he did not seem bothered and even chuckled when we mentioned that we would be reporting it to my Sister in-law who is in Management at Cotton On Head Office - it's as if he's done this before to other customers knowing they wouldn't actually report the matter. I would really appreciate it if it were explained to Cotton On Greenstone Mall staff and Godfrey Maphangule be given a warning so that he knows and remembers that the Mall says it CLOSES at 18:00 not the staff KNOCKS off at 18:00 and I believe they should know this from when they took on their retail jobs. We expect such behavior from Thembisa or other townships where the staff close their doors early and give black people an attitude but not from an area or Mall such as Greenstone. I have also reported the matter to Cotton On Head Office using my gmail address because it is embarrassing and appalling how Godfrey Maphangule saw nothing wrong in what and how unbothered he was about their behavior and I say "their" because I'm pretty sure the staff decided to close early and you might even find that their Manager is fine with them closing their branch 10mins (or even earlier) before all other stores at a Mall that closes at 18:00. This needs to be addressed and I need to be notified on how this was handled please as I am utterly disappointed in Cotton On ***).
