REFUSED TO SELL ME AN ITEM
I am a huge fan of Cotton on. I went there yesterday the 16th February 2016 ( MY BIRTHDAY) to do a little shopping before my function. I am a very very regular customer. I was in the sale section and found a skirt that I wanted to buy but it did not have a price and it was the very last skirt like that.

I noticed it had a very small hem that had come loose but this was not a problem for me. I asked a lady who worked there if they had anymore or if that was the last one and that if it was the last I would take it anyway as I had wanted this item for a while.

She came back and told me I could not have the item due to the hem being loose and that there weren't anymore. She told me that this was policy and they cant sell a damaged item. I do understand this to an extent but it was ONE LOOSE hem and surely to goodness if a buyer really wants an item and is happy with it the way it is they cannot refuse to sell it? The lady that helped me was sweet. But I am genuinely very disappointed that they can refuse a SALE ITEM to a customer when it is the last one available. I wish I had not pointed out the loose hem.

I spoke to a few friends who has the same thing happen. we wont be back.
