Refund policy wrong

I bought an item in December, just before I was headed overseas. Te item was a horrible fit so was ment to return it on my return but when I returned I had some medical issues which took preference. I finally managed to get to the store to return the item- the tag was still on and I had the slip. The manager tells me that even tho my item is clearly marked at R350- I was only going to get the sale price of R200 due to late return. Athough some time had passed, the item was returned in perfect condition with all the necessary documentation. I asked her where this rule is stipulated as I am pretty sure the Consumer Act does not follow the same principals. She advised that it was on the Website- I went onto the website and NO where could I find anything saying that after 30 days items will be refunded at sale price. I called on Friday and they put me through to a guy who said what they did was wrong and he was going to call the store for them to refund me the balance- I have not heard back from anyone- I called yesterday and no one returned my call.
