I brought a shirt for my friend last week at gateway Mall, the size unfortunately was wrong, so today I want to exchange it

the store manager refuse to exchange it today as this is a sale item, so I asked her if i could get anything at higher price thus I could pay for the difference, firstly the lady is very rude and refuse to exchange or refund, and said why did I not tired it on before I brought if, BUT THIS WAS A GIFT, now I have left with a T shirt that does not fit me

COTTON ON service is terrible, South African should support their own stores,
