manager has bad attitude

So today I went to cotton on cavendish like I always do. I had a bit of a disaster as I wanted to exchange 2 items I bought for my daughter and it wasn't suitable for her. I didn't however have a receipt. I just wanted to get something else but the manager said unfortunately I'm stuck with the unsuitable goods as she cannot do an exchange. I understand that I didn't have the receipt but the amount of money I spend at cotton on the least she cudve done was made an exception.. When she told me I'm stuck with these items.. I left them at the store and proceeded to leave. She didn't even attempt to call me back. I love cotton on clothing.. So much that my self and my 4 kids are besotted with the brand. So becoz of one stupid incident.. Would I recomend any1? Yes def but not to cavendish. Thay are all morbit in that store. They should take lessons from the canal walk staff. I want to know what I should do with those unsuitable items? I was just not very impressed today.. The manager insisted I get a receipt.. From where? If I told her I don't have it. Does she think i cannot afford it? But please get them to answer my question. What do I do with those goods?
