Incorrect advertising and merchandising

i was in the V&a Cotton On, I picked two t-shirts- 2 for R250 and 3 shirts- merchandised on a rail which says "buy 2 get1 free- sale items" when I got to the till I was told the shirt was not part of theat promo and was 25% off, which I understood as a customer could have placed the item on the incorrect rail. I then went and chose another shirt off the same rail- which their was a full size curve. I got to the till only to be told again that this shirt was also not on that promo. This is incorrect advertising and as per the CPA , what the customer sees the customer gets. As previously mentioned, I understood the first time but the second and a full size curve on the rail I do not. The sales assistant laughed and thought it was comical- I only had a certain amount of time- buying my husband a birthday present. Time was wasted and no one assisted. I left very unhappy as I usually get great service and love the cotton on body product.

Please check this in your stores as it is highly frustrating.
