False advertising
I am so dissapointed in the service at Cotton on, there was a denim 25% discount if you posted your selfie of trying on cotton on jeans in the fitting room, so I followed the instructions and tried on a pair of jeans from underneath the clearly marked \denim\" sign, only to be told by the cashier with a bad attitude that these are not in fact denim jeans and she would not uphold the claims stated in the special. Despite the fact that I happened to be shopping with a lawyer who clearly stated to her that this does not comply with the Consumer Protection Act and the fact that the jeans had \"how to wash denim\" instructions attached, Cotton on did not comply. Either there is something seriously wrong with the branding in store layout or Cotton on needs to get its act together. The lawyer I was shopping with also noticed a few other infringements of the CPA, which we will be looking in to further. I work in advertising and i know how serious these infringements can be. Thanks for ruining my Sunday shopping trip Cotton On, great job."
