Cotton On Service
I went to shop at Cotton On in Gateways Mall on the 26th of December 2018. I was shopping for clothes for my kids. I went to kids section 9-15 years old. We choose some few things for my daughter under the things that were marked down, and we spent about 30-45 minutes in the section, and she went to fit them on. we then moved to the boys section which is in the same section but on the opposite where we also picked few things and went to the payment section. When we got there they told me that one of the pants iwe chose was not marked down and i told them that we got it from the sale rail. they called the supervisor and i went to show her whee i got them from. there were no other pants like the ones we chose, there was another khakhi coloured pants then i said i'll take that one then she checked the prices on both pants and said they were not marked. i asked for the manager who came and told me that she wont give me a discout even when i got two item that were not marked down on the the marked down rail. She continued to tell how she's nt responsible for customers that move around things, so i couldn't understand who was since it was definetrly not me. When i was trying to explain to her she accused me being a **** that she's not certain if i got the pants from the marked down rail even when the supervisor told her so. She even said i shouldn't touch her. I asked for her name which she said was Naadira Mahomed and she told me she is the Manager of the store, i could not esclate this issue any further than her. hen i was talking to her she undermined me, accused me of being a ****, disgusted by me and beliitled me. She was acting as if that was her own store, as if she owned it. i think about above all i was not the right skin colour, had i been of a different colour i would have been given a different service.
