Cotton On Mall of the South makes customers feel super awkward.

When I was paying for a top at cotton on the employee asked if I wanted to donate money to charity. I said “no , sorry” ,(just to be clear sometimes I’ll donate , sometimes I won’t , my own choice) she then asked me “why not?” .....I understand that giving money to charity is important but there is no reason to ask customers why they cannot give money to their charity! It is rude and very unprofessional. The employee asked the question in such a rude manner , like I owed it to her to give to their charity. Puts customers in such an uncomfortable position ,is it mandatory to ask this question ? Hope not cause that’s just rude.
