Cotton On is not trustworthy

I ordered from Cotton On online, last year December and I didn't receive everything that I ordered. I emailed them telling them I didn't receive all my things. And they chose to lie to me. They said they have sent it out for shipment and I should receive it after the holidays. Till today, I still have not received my items. And I don't understand why honestly. I asked for a refund because I saw that I clearly wasn't going to get these items and they ignored me.
