Cotton On Body refuses to exchange a faulty sports bra.
Good day, I am writing this complaint as I am utterly disappointed in Cotton On Body, and in particular their attitude towards their customers. Here is what happened to me. Less than three months ago I purchased a High Impact Sports Bra from Cotton On Body. After having the bra for less than three months and using it about for about two months at the rate of twice a week for light cardio (walking on the treadmill), the left side of the back of the bra star started to tear. It is important to note that the right side remains intact. So this Saturday I went to Cotton On Body in Baywest Mall in Port Elizabeth in order to get the bra exchanged. I assumed this would be ok and Cotton On Body had plenty of stock to I selected my size and went to the till. At the till the Cotton On Body sales consultant informed me that they cannot exchange my item for me, because this tearing was a result of my own fault and how I wore the item. I find this absolutely unacceptable that the bra cannot be exchanged, as surely Cotton On Body understands that their bra's cannot have a life span of less than three months? If this is the case why waste your money at all there if you have to repurchase a bra every two and a half months? The treatment received from the sales consultant was absolutely appalling and if this is how Cotton On Body treats its customers then I would rather buy my gym gear somewhere else. I sincerely hope that Cotton On Body reads this review and rectifies this.
