Tanants vs landlord

Cosmo city is a township where most people are from around South Africa but do not own houses most of us left homes to come work here near the township but most of our landlords are taking advantage of us I stay at extension 2 where I pay a rent of R2800 but since the past 2 months I have moved here I have used electricity ones I have food that were rotten then I called the landlord she said Is not of her problem that my food are rotten wen moved in she said R2800 inclusive electricity then I spent 3 weeks with no electricity then I went to her an ask her to take rent money n give me the electricity she said she ate it now they harrassing my husband n kid what can o do ggiyd
