Bad Quality Bricks is *********ly hidden inside pallets as ****

I am really disappointed with the quality of the bricks from Corobrick. I paid for the bricks like a year in advance then was unable to take delivery due to other commitments. The salesman at the Clayville branch gave me a run around and eventually the Branch manager, Magda stepped in and assisted me to sort the missing invoice. Then the manager came past my house with samples to match my existing bricks on building and she did this at least three times and finally managed to get the correct colours and texture. She then arranged delivery and the bricks arrived with outsourced transport company. I immediately noticed that the bricks was not shrink-wrapped and not palletized and visible damages were evident. I immediately called the Branch manager to inform and she explained that if there is more than 5% defects and damages then she will arrange replacement. I agreed with here because I built a trust relationship as customer. Sadly with Covid pandemic everything came to standstill and bricks stayed in safe location unused.I started the building work with NHBRC builder and I had to remove part of the wall he built twice each day I came home from work. He showed me all the colour defects, size defects, chipped bricks and warped like banana bricks. We are currently building and I am staying at home doing brick selection to ensure we don’t break and remove wall for the third time. I am very unhappy with Corobrik quality and the **** system they are using by putting good bricks on the top of and sides of the strap tied batches so that neither the customer nor the Branch Manager can see the defects until they actually need the bricks and are busy with construction which is too late. I have started making my own stack of defective and damaged bricks and will want a refund and replacement for the loss of money, workers pay days, construction time, cement and sand loss for rework. The wall has to go up due to security risk so we are using the best possible bricks we can find but this is delaying the work to almost twice the days allowed for building. I restate my comment that this is not a Branch Manager problem, since Magda has been truthful and honest with all engagements and I cannot place responsibility on her for the **** and ********** actions of the other staff at Corobrik. I trust a Senior Exec or Board member involved in ethics and compliance will intervene to rectify the reputational damages and provide appropriate restitution. Naresh
