Cornelia Intro Cakes - Disgraceful cakes

We ordered our wedding cake through a company by the name of Cornelia Intro Cakes and had an absolutely appalling experience

The cake was late to arrive at our wedding despite paying for an arranging 3 weeks before the event, was delivered by an Uber driver that decided to help himself to a drink at our reception despite the owner asking them to leave

The maker did not even have the decency to call or deliver the cake herself and sent the below message

"I had a real challenge our fridge stopped working a week ago. I thought it would be ok as my buttercream is quite solid at room temp. But it's an extra hot day, and nothing seemed to go my way. The result, your icing did not have time to set and it became extremely difficult to smooth it out, and to keep it smooth. The smallest touch left a mark and the more tried fixing, more i messed up. I had to improvise. Im sorry the design is not quite what you asked for. I would like to offer you either discount on your next order, or a 10% refund"

The state of the cake was absolutely appalling and the offer of a 10 refund was just a slap in the face. My entire family was too embarrassed to bring the cake out so was a complete waste

We fought back and said we want a Full refund, only to be given more stories of their financial issues, empty promises and still no refund

I really hope this company gets shut down because their service and lack of empathy or understanding does not belong in the working world

Will NEVER work with them again! And will NEVER refer them.
