Poor Quality Discoverer AT3 tyres

Cooper tyres promote their brand is a premium tyre with only the GF Goodrich being a distant second. I have 4 Cooper AT3 discoverer tyres, and whilst they are excellent for highway and town driving, they are NOT SUITABLE for the SOUTH AFRICAN roads and bush. <br> I'm disappointed in their ability, strength and durability for the south African market. Their sidewall structure is a damn joke, the slightest thorn and you have a pin hole leak. We all know the RSA road conditions, poor road surfaces, stones and rocks. Dare you ride over one and the inside tyre structure is prone to tear.<br> Cooper tyres has made a meal about the superiority of this tyre and I'm afraid to say I fell for it and I'm now paying the price. My view is that this tyre was and still is unsuitable for the AFRICAN bush and RSA roads.<br> I'm told that Cooper tyres has now introduced the Discoverer AT3 LT tyre which is far stronger and more suitable for the AFRICAN bush and RSA road conditions.<br> I'd like to see Cooper tyres put their money where their mouth is and offer to replace the Discoverer AT3 with the Discoverer AT3 LT tyres. I'm happy to pay in for thread life used and I'm sure other people will be too.
