STAY AWAY

I paid Stephen Horn R47,000 (of a quoted total of R67,000) as a deposit for a food trailer and an equipment box on a Tuk-Tuk.on 28th November 2014. Of three quotes, his was accepted because he assured me he could complete the work by the 17th December...then it became the 19th, then it became the 29th.<br> <br> Don't think that putting everything in writing will help - it doesn't!<br> <br> I have reams of copies of emails, sms' WhatsApps etc etc<br> <br> Don't listen to his assurances - he lies<br> <br> I am still waiting for specific performance and have had to contract another supplier to manufacture for me - they were also duped by Mr Horn and he owes them money<br> <br> The Sheriff of the Court, in delivering a Warrant of Execution and eventually a Default Judgement has told me that she knows him well and has served several orders on him, so the courts apparently do not scare him either. He will proudly tell you that he is owns nothing and is technically insolvent when you press him for delivery and threaten court action. Insolvent or not, we will continue to pursue him to get our money back and recover our damages.<br> <br> And yet he continues to trade....?? Please, whatever you do - take your business elsewhere!!!
