Continental Aviation ****!!!

I wish there were an option of a "no star" rating...job seekers out there, please be advised that the cell number ********** 758....is not a registered South African number. I had the misfortune of applying for a job advertised on Job space for a Ground Hostess. I was sent an email to say that my application was successful and that I was to start the following Monday. Before then, I was told to pay for a uniform through PEP (I assume with Capfin - and this already made me suspicious). The proof of payment should then be sent to a "Martin" via Whatsapp and the application forms, I was told to fill and scan in and resend. This made me even more suspicious which led me to "investigate" further. I then put the cell number into Google's search engine and realized that there are various jobs offered with the same cell phone number, all with different e-mail addresses. My next google search, was the company registration number, provided on the company letterhead...this too was incorrect as it contained too many numbers (which confirmed it was made up)....I then messaged "Martin" to ask if they have a website - he told me that it was still under construction and that he suggests I wait until it is up and running to reapply for their January staff intake. I then was given the impression that I was asking too many questions and with this thought I'd try my luck and catch him out by telling him that I was about to call the ACSA (Airports Company of South Africa) to confirm that their establishment is contracted to recruit for job placements as advertised at the airport. AND BOOM!!!!! He rep**** immediately and told me "We don't have time for your games"...and before I could reply, he immediately blocked me!!!

So please, just a heads up to all serious job seekers out there - don't be fooled!!! Do your homework first and ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS....follow your gut!!
