Took my vehicle to them in Nov 2015 to replace bushes. According to their inspection and recommendation I decided to spend on the suspension a bit more, approx. 4k+ 2 weeks later both my front tyres were driving on steel threads and swaying all over the road. Took it back and according to them it was the "new bushes" that they installed that failed. (Note that even with the older “worn” bushes it was driving fine) They were NOT 100% sure of their assessment though, so as a precaution they replaced my shredded tyres with tyres that were WORSE than my original tyres which had about 70% thread. HOWEVER, what they proceeded to do was swap my original rear tyres to the front and put theirs at the back. TWO WEEKS LATER and my front two tyres was driving on steel threads again with my car swerving violently when driven over any bump or manhole cover. After inspection it was determined that the "NEW" bushes that they installed had failed again (after 2 weeks once more). The manager then informed me to purchase original bushes from the manufacturer and was told that their “bush” supplier does not provide a guarantee nor warrantee and thus could not be refunded but that they will re-install the newly purchased original bushes at no cost. (Which was expected) So I took the loss (shame on them) and purchased original bushes At that point I requested my tyres replaced as I was driving on steel threads once more. The tyres was now replaced with 25 – 35 less thread than my original ones again. Now I was driving with all 4 tyres provided by them that was worse than my original tyres. It was also narrower profile in both width and diameter and not mentioned different brands. Because there was a stock waiting time from the vehicle manufacturer for a week, and it reached the end of the year, the stock only arrived in Jan 2016, which meant that I was left car-less during the December-Jan holidays. During this time I took the car for a second opinion to Tyre-Mart (known as Hi-Q at the time). They inspected the vehicle and showed me that all four tyres that Conti had put on as replacements were all BUCKLED TYRES. They also installed the rear stabiliser bar the wrong way round. I brought forth my grievance to the manager and was told they will try and find tyres that matched my original, both in terms of brand and profile spec. When my original bushes arrived from manufacturer I proceeded to take the car back to Conti-Partners for installation. It was installed and was told that they still have not found any tyres matching my originals but they will call me should they find. I also told them about the 4 buckled tyres that they installed and was ignored. I left all contact details with them but then decided to call back 2 months later since I have not heard anything from them. The manager told me they had still not received anything matching my original tyres and that he will call back once they get it. I confirmed that he had all contact details which was correct. 1 AND HALF YEARS LATER and I am still awaiting my replacement tyres. My bushes are fine though, which meant they were using the cheapest quality knock-offs to maximise profit. All in all, I risked my family;s lives driving for 4 weeks with an instable car due low quality items from Cont- Partners. Lost out on a REFUND for “NEW” items I paid for, both only lasting only 2 weeks each. Lost out on my original tyres which were in better condition Drove with 4 BUCKLED TYRES at the FALSE PROMISE that it would be replaced Lost out on year end family outings due to their messup I would recommend using alternative (reputable) companies instead of these guys who utilises the cheapest aftermarket products on your vehicle risking your and your families lives in the process. Still awaiting some kind of an apology from the manager who instead constantly made excuses on his suppliers behalf.
