Beyond *********** service at Container World

Doing business with Container World has been an absolute stressful nightmare!!! I paid a deposit of R60 000 in November 2018 and delivery was supposed to be in December 2018. I flew to East London to inspect before the final payment. I arrived to a bare container, no insulation, walls or tiles on the floor. Karl **** to me saying he did not like the boards and tiles used by Steelworks (the company doing the conversion) so he had asked that these be removed. There was no evidence of any work done. Instead I discovered that there was no material to work with. They were waiting for the delivery of the wooden boards. I waited the whole day for the delivery and none came. I decided to cancel the deal. The following day Linda and Karl asked for a meeting at their office. At the meeting a discussion ensued on how to save the deal. They both acknowledged that they had dropped the ball and promised to expedite the deal and promised to fly me down at their cost for another inspection and delivery. The new delivery date was now January 2019.

It is now February and there is no container. I last spoke to Karl on 18 January when he wanted to know when I was coming to EL. I asked whether the the container had been painted in the colour I had chosen. He denied that the colour had been discussed. He said he would speak to Linda about. He never came back to me.

Today, 5 February I sent an email asking for my money back. I provided my account details. In less than 5minutes of sending the email, my phone rang... Container World East London was calling me. I could not take the call because I was on another line. Linda lays the delay on my lap...she was waiting for me to get back to her with a paint code....something I knew nothing about. Like in December, they are now promising to work as soon as I provide this paint code!!!!!!

Really!!!!!
