Theft at CONTAIN IT SELF STORAGE ZAMBESI

I rented a storage unit with Contain it self storage for over a year. I stored a fully furnished two bedroom apartment there. After three months into my contract, i went there to get a couple of items i needed only to find excessive water damage to my wooden furniture. I was in contact with management and they insisted that i was supposed to have insurance, after a long fight i got a month free rent from them, didn't justify the furniture i lost, but what can you do.

Further i did not have any issues as i decided that from the incident i was going there every month. For about a year i did not have any troubles. But as i was going there one evening to get some camping gear, i was shocked with what i saw. My whole container ****** empty. I was left with some bags and boxes that my furniture was stored in. As i raised the issue with security, i was told we don't know anything. So i came back the next morning to have a discussion with the management and all he had to say for himself is that it is not his problem, and it was brought to my attention that there was a couple of break ins over the prior two months, and that it was possible that his security guard could easily take a R100 for not seeing anything. There is supposedly to be access control, which i don't think I ever signed.

When i asked to see where it was so i could see who they allowed access to my unit, then suddenly there was no sign in what so ever.

I lost over R70000 worth of furniture and camping gear, because they have a lack of security or because their security has been compromised.

I would not recommend any one to make use of their services as this is the worst experience i have ever had.
