Don’t trust this contractor !!!!!

Jonathan Mbalani of New Dream Houses Ltd Started off with under quoting us only to receive the work , he was then hardly on site to manage the workmanship of the contractors . The housekeeping was shocking and it was so sad to see how they disrespected our property .

He hired a subcontracting electrician who made a big mess up on electrical which costed us double in the end as we had to redo all of the electrical work

He made us pay 100% upfront and we were very silly but did this only to try and speed up the process as he manipulated us in actually doing this and trusting him

He Double charged on some aspects of the build and then when we started making the big payments for the slab , roof replacement and the rest of the build , he declared to be out of cash

He left for weeks claiming his grandmother was I’ll and then came back informing us that he had no more cash - cash that we paid upfront after he promised immediate order of materials upon immediate payment etc

It is extremely sad that these dishonest contractors make it so hard for the rest of the honest contractors to find work and that our hard earned money is taken with absolutely no remorse or concern for even their reputation

Stay away from this contractor.

I don’t usually do reviews but this has been a very painful experience that I would not want anyone else to have to experience and therefore had to share .
